The Swiffer WetJet's trigger is calibrated for a barely-awake brain
This is an oddly specific thing to care about, but I noticed it immediately when I switched between the two: the Swiffer WetJet’s trigger requires very little force to activate. It’s light, responsive, and you can half-squeeze it without thinking about it. The Libman Freedom’s trigger needs a much more deliberate, stronger press — the kind of grip you have to commit to. In the morning, when your coffee hasn’t kicked in and you’re mopping up a splash before work, the Swiffer wins because you don’t have to engage any brain power to make it work. It’s a small ergonomic difference, but it’s the kind of thing you notice every single time you use it.
