Scotch-Brite Heavy Duty handles tough messes in half the scrubs of Scrub Daddy

I ran a completely unscientific test on a mystery baked-on stain on one of my baking sheets — timed strokes with both sponges, same pressure, same dish soap. The Scotch-Brite Heavy Duty took four strokes to fully lift the stain. The Scrub Daddy took nine. That’s more than double the work for the same result. For everyday rinsing of plates and glasses, you probably won’t notice a difference. But when you’ve got a pan that’s seen better days or a casserole dish with something welded to its surface, the Scotch-Brite Heavy Duty is the one you want in your hand. The Scrub Daddy’s texture is pleasant and it doesn’t smell, but it doesn’t have the same aggressive cutting power.
