Auto-dock drying keeps mold from growing in your robot
When a robot vacuum finishes mopping, it returns to the dock with moisture trapped in the mop pad, the filter, and various internal pathways. If that moisture sits, you get musty smells, mold growth, and degraded filter performance — especially in humid homes or after cleaning wet areas like kitchens.
Auto-dock drying solves this by circulating warm air through the robot after it docks. A small fan blows air through internal channels for a few hours, evaporating residual moisture while the robot charges. The fan is nearly silent, and the drying happens automatically.
It’s the kind of feature you don’t think about until you don’t have it. Without drying, you’ll eventually notice a smell coming from the robot’s dock area that no amount of cleaning seems to fix. With drying, it just never becomes a problem.
