A side brush is what saves the baseboards from that dust border

The main rollers can’t reach right up against a wall, so robot vacuums use a small spinning side brush to sweep dirt from baseboards and corners into the roller’s path. It’s a simple mechanical trick, but it’s the difference between clean-looking floors and floors that look clean because the dust line against the wall was swept up.
