Your robot vacuum isn’t bumping around blindly — at least, not if it has LiDAR. That spinning tower on top shoots laser pulses in every direction, measuring distances to walls and furniture legs, then stitches the data into a live floor plan so the bot navigates in straight lines instead of bouncing off things like a drunk Roomba.
