Thousand Jr. bike lights cost less than a lunch out — visibility for your kid is not negotiable

I don’t understand why more parents don’t buy bike lights for their kids. The Thousand Jr. set — front and rear, USB rechargeable — costs less than a single lunch out, and it makes your kid dramatically more visible to drivers in low light. The lights are bright, easy to mount, and hold a charge long enough that you won’t be hunting for the cable every night. If your kid rides anywhere near traffic, this is not optional equipment.
