The Slackleline kit: when your kid out-balances you

This is the one toy that made me realize my daughter has better balance than I do, and I’m still processing that. The Slackleline kit comes with a training line that clips on as a handhold, which makes it accessible for kids who’ve never tried slacklining before. Set it up between two trees in the backyard and you’ve got an activity that keeps them engaged for surprisingly long stretches. It’s compact enough to throw in the car for park trips, and the learning curve is gentle enough that even adults (with worse balance) can give it a shot without embarrassing themselves too badly.
