The Radio Flyer Glide & Go is a budget balance bike — expect a single season

The Radio Flyer Glide & Go is a decent starter balance bike if you’re not sure your kid will take to the concept and don’t want to spend much to find out. But the plastic frame and solid tires mean it’s heavy for what it is, and the lack of air tires limits traction on anything but pavement. Expect about a season of use before your kid outgrows it or you want to upgrade to something lighter with real tires. It fills the niche it’s designed for — a low-commitment entry point — but it’s not the bike you’ll keep for the next kid.
