Love Letter is one of those rare games that’s simple enough for a five-year-old to grasp but has enough subtlety to keep adults engaged — the family version adjusts the theme and complexity just enough to make it work across generations. A full round takes about fifteen minutes, which is the sweet spot between “that was too short” and “are we done yet.” We’ve played it before bed more nights than I can count and it never overstays its welcome.
