I wish I’d just bought the Keen Newport H2 sandals first and skipped everything else

I went through three pairs of cheap kids’ sandals before I bought the Keen Newport H2s and I regret every dollar I spent on the others. The toe bumper alone is worth the price \u2014 it protects their feet from stubbed toes, curb scrapes, and the general chaos of running around outside. The rubber sole holds up to actual summer abuse (water, mud, playgrounds, hiking trails), and the adjustable straps mean they still fit after a growth spurt. They’re not cheap, but they’re the only sandal I’ve found that survives an entire summer with a kid and still looks presentable enough to hand down.
