The material is thin, the seams are the first thing to go, and by mid-July you’re patching a pepperoni-shaped hole with the repair kit that came in the box. If you want a pool float that lasts a season, buy a solid-color classic from a brand that takes inflatables seriously. If you want a photo op, borrow your neighbor’s.
