The Canadian Skylon Tower has the better view.
The US Observation Tower gets you close to the American Falls and Bridal Veil Falls, but you’re looking at them from the side and mostly seeing mist. The Skylon Tower on the Canadian side is taller and positioned so you see both the American Falls and the big Horseshoe Falls head-on. You get the full panorama.
If you care about seeing all the falls at once, go to Skylon. If you want to feel the spray and get close to the American side, the US tower is fine—but it’s more of a “you are right there” experience than a “wow look at the whole thing” experience.
The Canadian side also has a better view of the city skyline behind you. So unless you’re on a strict budget or tight on time, Skylon wins.
