Skylon for the view, Observation Tower for the meal.

Depends on what you want.

For photography, Skylon Tower wins. You’re higher up, which gives you a wider, more dramatic angle of the Horseshoe Falls and the gorge. The observation deck is open-air (with glass barriers), so no reflections ruining your shots. You also get a 360-degree view, useful for different lighting throughout the day. Sunset from Skylon is hard to beat.

For dining, the Niagara Falls Observation Tower (the one at Table Rock) has the better restaurant – the Table Rock Restaurant. It’s closer to the falls, so you get that mist-and-thunder atmosphere right next to your table. The food is decent and the proximity to the water adds a sensory experience Skylon can’t match. Skylon’s revolving restaurant is fine but feels more like a generic tourist trap.

So: bring your camera to Skylon, bring your appetite to the Observation Tower. If you can only do one, figure out which experience matters more.
