HP’s Smart Tank 7001 abandons the cartridge model entirely. It uses a continuous ink tank system — built-in reservoirs that you top off with ink bottles rather than replacing full cartridges. It’s HP’s answer to Epson’s EcoTank: lower cost per page, fewer consumables to throw away, and less frequent refills.
