The HP EliteDesk 800 G9 Mini finally gets NVMe alongside SATA

Unlike the older G1 version, the EliteDesk 800 G9 Mini includes an M.2 2280 slot running PCIe Gen4 NVMe. You still get a 2.5-inch SATA bay for a secondary drive, though it only accepts 7mm-thick drives. It’s a solid small-form-factor storage layout — fast primary, capacious secondary — a welcome generational leap from the G1’s SATA-only limitation.
