The Gigabyte X570 AORUS ELITE relies on USB 3.2 Gen 1 for most of its rear I/O

Gigabyte went heavy on USB 3.2 Gen 1 for the X570 AORUS ELITE — six of the nine Type-A ports run at 5Gbps. That’s plenty for multiple peripherals, though you only get two high-speed Gen 2 ports for the stuff that matters. The USB-C runs at 10Gbps and the 2.5GbE jack rounds out a well-connected AM4 board with 7.1-channel audio to boot.
