The DeskMini 110 offers HDMI, DisplayPort, and VGA — pick your poison
The ASRock DeskMini 110 is a tiny desktop with a surprisingly generous video output selection. It’s got HDMI 1.4, DisplayPort 1.2, and — oddly — a D-Sub VGA port. Three different video outputs on a mini PC from this era is unusual, and it means you can drive three monitors without any adapters.
USB-wise, the back gets four USB 3.0 ports, which is plenty for a desktop. The front has two USB 2.0 ports — clearly meant for keyboard and mouse so you don’t waste the faster ports on them. There’s a Gigabit Ethernet port (Realtek RTL8111H) and separate headphone and mic jacks.
The triple video output is the real story. Most mini PCs of this vintage give you two display outputs max. The DeskMini 110 covers all bases: digital (HDMI), workstation (DP), and legacy projector support (VGA). It’s a jack of all trades.
