The M70q Gen 3 runs dual HDMI 2.1 — rare on a business mini PC

Two HDMI 2.1 ports on a business mini PC. That’s unusual, and it tells me Lenovo is taking multi-monitor setups seriously. The M70q Gen 3 can drive two 4K displays at 120 Hz each, or a single 8K display. On top of that, there’s a DisplayPort 1.4 for a third monitor if you need it.

Front panel is clean: two USB-A 3.2 Gen 2, one USB-C 3.2 Gen 2, and a combo audio jack. Rear has two more USB-A 3.2 Gen 2, two USB-A 2.0 (peripherals), Gigabit Ethernet, and an optional serial port.

The dual HDMI 2.1 is the standout here. Most mini PCs in Lenovo’s lineup still use HDMI 2.0. Getting 2.1 on both ports means this Gen 3 machine is future-proofed for high-refresh productivity workflows.
