The HP EliteDesk 800 G8 Mini skips USB 2.0 entirely — every port is Gen 2

HP went all-in on USB 3.2 Gen 2 for the EliteDesk 800 G8 Mini — there isn’t a single USB 2.0 port anywhere on the chassis. The front has two Type-A and one Type-C, all Gen 2. The rear mirrors that with two more Gen 2 Type-A ports. Display output comes through two DisplayPort 1.4 connectors, and networking runs at 2.5 Gigabit Ethernet. There’s also an optional serial or VGA port for legacy gear. It’s a clean, modern I/O arrangement with no dead ports.
