The ASRock DeskMeet X300 splits USB evenly between front and rear

The DeskMeet X300 keeps its I/O balanced. The rear panel has two USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-A ports, two USB 2.0 ports for the keyboard and mouse, Gigabit Ethernet, and standard audio jacks. The front panel adds two more USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-A and a USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-C port.

The Gen1 USB-C is limited to 5 Gbps, but it’s still handy for quick connections. Gigabit Ethernet instead of 2.5GbE is expected at this price point. The split is practical — enough ports in front for daily use, enough in back for permanent connections.
