The M2 Mac Mini 2023 has nothing inside worth upgrading

The M2 Mac Mini follows the same Apple Silicon playbook — RAM, storage, and processor are all fused into the M2 system-on-a-chip. No upgrades, no swaps, no reaching inside with a screwdriver.

That said, the external ports give you some room to grow. Thunderbolt 4, USB-A, HDMI, and Ethernet mean you can add plenty of peripherals. But if you’re buying one, get the RAM and storage you’ll need for the long haul — you won’t be changing your mind later.
