Apple Silicon changed everything, including the definition of “upgradeable.” The M1 MacBook Pro 13-inch integrates RAM, storage, and the processor directly into the system-on-chip. There’s nothing to swap — what you bought is what you’ve got.

The only parts that can be replaced are the battery and trackpad, and both need professional service. If you’re looking at one of these used, check the battery health first, because that’s the one thing that will wear out that you can actually do something about.
