The Synology DS224+ keeps the Intel Celeron J4125 humming in a compact package

Synology’s DS224+ uses the familiar Intel Celeron J4125 quad-core processor, the same Gemini Lake Refresh chip found in the DS920+ and several QNAP and Asustor models. For a 2-bay NAS, it’s a solid match — enough power for Synology’s full DSM feature set, including Moments photo indexing and secure surveillance recording.
