The QNAP TS-233 runs an ARM Cortex-A53, not an x86 chip

The TS-233 is QNAP’s budget entry, and it shows in the processor choice: a Realtek RTD1296 with four ARM Cortex-A53 cores at 1.4 GHz. It’s not an x86 chip, so forget about Docker or virtual machines — this is a pure NAS appliance. The upside is excellent power efficiency and near-silent operation.
