The PowerBook G4's graphics and processor are soldered and cannot be upgraded

Both the ATI Mobility Radeon GPU and the PowerPC G4 CPU are soldered directly to the logic board, so neither can be swapped out. What you buy is what you’re stuck with — there’s no socketed upgrade path on these machines.
