Park a few blocks away and skip the souvenir shacks.
The two biggest scams near the falls are parking lots and souvenir shops. You’ll pay $30–40 for a spot that’s a 10‑minute walk from the entrance anyway, and the junk in those stores is marked up 3x what you’d pay at a Walmart down the road. Just park in a municipal lot a few blocks out (check signs for hourly rates) and buy your keychains at a grocery store on the way home. The only thing worth paying a premium for is the view itself — and you already get that for free.
You’ll leave with more money and less plastic garbage.
