Observation towers don't post maintenance schedules publicly.

They don’t. Most observation towers handle maintenance internally and only announce closures at the last minute — or not at all, if it’s a quick fix.

Your best bet is checking the tower’s official website or social media feed the morning of your visit. Many have a “live status” page for elevators and platforms. If they don’t, call. Avoid third-party sites — they’re usually outdated.

If you’re traveling far, build in a backup plan. No amount of research will save you from a surprise 11 AM elevator inspection.
