No fee to walk across at Niagara Falls, just bring your passport.

Walk across the Rainbow Bridge. Pay nothing. Show your passport. That’s it.

The process is simple. On either side (US or Canada), you approach the pedestrian entrance of the Rainbow Bridge. You walk across the bridge (maybe 10 minutes, nice view). At the other end, you enter the inspection booth. Hand over your passport or NEXUS card. They might ask where you’re from and what you’re bringing back. Answer honestly. That’s the whole thing.

No fee for pedestrians. Drivers pay a toll, but walkers don’t. If you’re crossing for a day trip, you don’t need a visa if you’re a US or Canadian citizen. Permanent residents need their PR card. Everyone else check the embassy website.

Don’t forget your passport — a driver’s license won’t cut it.
