Schoenberg's String Quartet No. 2: atonality with a soprano and a line from another planet

Written in 1908, Schoenberg’s String Quartet No. 2 is one of the first atonal compositions. It famously adds a soprano voice in its final two movements, singing “I feel air from another planet.”
