Bill Evans' 'Peace Piece' started as a two-chord warm-up

‘Peace Piece’ is a solo piano improvisation by Bill Evans, recorded in 1958 for the album Everybody Digs Bill Evans. It evolved from Evans’s practice of warming up with a simple two-chord ostinato.
