Pulse Demon's holographic cover nods to 1970s Philips avant-garde

Merzbow’s Pulse Demon features holographic silver artwork that pays homage to the Prospective 21e Siècle imprint of Philips Records — the same design language used on albums by Ivo Malec. It also echoes the op-art of Bridget Riley.
