Low defined slowcore with minimalism and space

Low formed in Duluth, Minnesota in 1993 and essentially defined the slowcore genre. Their music — extremely slow tempos, hushed vocals, minimal instrumentation — created a sense of space and tension that influenced a generation of indie musicians.
