The US version of the Jimi Hendrix Experience’s debut replaced three album tracks with the first three UK singles — ‘Purple Haze’, ‘Hey Joe’, and ‘The Wind Cries Mary’ — which had been top ten hits in Britain but weren’t on the UK LP. Two different albums, same title.
