XTC's "Dear God" got bomb threats for questioning the Almighty

The theologically provocative lyrics on XTC’s Skylarking track “Dear God” inspired angry phone calls to US radio stations and at least one bomb threat. A reminder that questioning faith on record could still get you in real trouble in the 1980s.
