Air Wick states the Essential Mist uses natural essential oils, but some of those oils — eucalyptus, tea tree — can be toxic to pets with heavy exposure. Use it in well-ventilated areas, keep pets away from the diffuser, and check with your vet before running any oil diffuser around cats or birds.
