Fold your stroller before boarding the Maid of the Mist.

Yes, you can bring a stroller, but it must be folded and left in a designated storage area before you step onto the boat.

The boats have tight decks and no room for open strollers. You’ll fold it at the boarding dock and leave it with other folded strollers in a marked spot—usually inside the lower cabin or near the exit ramp. You won’t have access to it during the ride, so bring anything you need for the baby (poncho, snacks) in a small bag.

Full-size strollers are a pain to fold and carry while juggling a kid and a rain poncho in a crowd. If you can babywear, that’s the move. Otherwise, a cheap umbrella stroller is way easier than a bulky travel system.

Either way, the ponchos cover everyone, but your stroller will be soaked when you pick it up.
