Goat Island from the Canadian side — cross the border first, then drive or walk onto the island

You can get to Goat Island from the Canadian side — but you have to cross the Rainbow Bridge into Niagara Falls, New York first, then follow signs to Niagara Falls State Park. From there you drive or walk onto the island via the Goat Island bridge. It’s a bit of a journey for a park that’s technically a five-minute walk away on the map, but the panoramic views of all three waterfalls make it worth the border crossing.
