Tide PODS eat grass stains — unless the dryer set them

My kid came home from school with grass stains on khaki-colored pants that looked like they’d been tie-dyed by a lawnmower. I threw one Tide POD in the wash, no pre-treatment, cold cycle. The stain came out. Not faded — gone.

Ran another test on a fresh grass stain on a light blue shirt. Same result. I’ve tried OxiClean sprays, stain sticks, bargain-brand pods. Nothing has been this effortless.

The catch? I haven’t tested it on a stain that’s been through the dryer. Heat sets grass stains. If the pants made it through a drying cycle before you noticed, the pod probably isn’t enough. Wash first, judge later.
