Self-washing mop robots actually work for pet stains
I didn’t believe the self-washing thing was real until I watched it. The mop head scrubs, then rinses itself in the dock, then goes back out. No standing there wringing a dirty rag by hand.
For pet stains, the difference is night and day. A regular robot vacuum smears wet paw prints into a dried Jackson Pollock across the tile. These bots wash the pad mid-cycle so it’s not dragging muddy water everywhere. The pet models add odor-eating pads and stronger suction that actually pull dried crud off grout lines.
My floors are clean. My nose is happy. I’m not kneeling with a paper towel anymore.
