Yes. The single biggest battery saver is using the lowest brightness you can actually see with.
Most headlamps and lanterns have a ridiculous high mode that’ll drain a battery in a few hours. On medium or low, you get ten, twenty, even fifty hours. Camping at night, your eyes will adjust. You don’t need 300 lumens to walk to the bathroom or cook dinner. Try the second-lowest setting first. You’ll be surprised.
