CPU-Z will tell you.

Use CPU-Z. Open it, click the Memory tab, and look for “Channel #” — it will say Single or Dual. That’s it.

Windows Task Manager doesn’t show this info for soldered RAM. Neither does System Information. CPU-Z is the reliable tool.

If it says Single, that’s normal for most laptops with only one soldered stick. Some high-end ultrabooks have two soldered chips for dual-channel, but it’s rare. You can also check HWInfo64 under the motherboard section for confirmation.

Don’t overthink it. CPU-Z is free, portable, and tells you in two clicks.
